The Re-Designed 2013 Ford Flex

Want to stand out from the typical crowd? Check out the all new re-designed 2013 Ford Flex featuring an improved standard 3.5-liter V-6, featuring the addition of twin independent variable camshaft timing that boosts power and efficiency. It delivers 287 horsepower — about a 25 percent horsepower increase over its predecessor.

SFGate writes:

Ford says its upgraded 2013 Flex appeals to consumers wanting to stand out from the crowd. While the exterior design of the boxy full-size crossover utility vehicle might lure those seeking a ride with styling that stands apart from the pack, the Flex also has a strong practical character.

The seven-passenger, three-row vehicle is an efficient people and cargo carrier that boasts a civilized ride quality. For 2013, the Flex — with a $30,885 starting price — is even more refined, with significant improvements in styling, power, fuel efficiency, handling, and noise, vibration and harshness.

Flex’s basic style remains the same, but changes have been made to the front end that make it look sleeker and more modern. The nose is a bit more rounded and the three-bar grille design has been replaced with a thicker single bar sans the blue oval. “F L E X” — in large letters — now spreads across the front of the hood.
